In 2012, the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) was launched under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. The SDSN quickly grew and founded its global networks program; a membership-based alliance of top-tier knowledge-generating institutions focused on sustainable development, organized in national and regional clusters. As of 2022, SDSN has over 1,700 members in 50 networks across 144 countries. UUM is a proud and active member of this impactful network since the year 2021.

Malaysian Nature Society has pioneered conservation in Malaysia for the last eight decades, making a difference through habitat conservation and environmental education. Through the joint efforts of its members, partners and supporters, MNS has become a strong voice for the protection of Malaysia’s natural heritage. It aims to continue promoting and ensuring responsible environmental stewardship in this country.
