UUM Online: The Centre for Testing, Measurement and Appraisal (CeTMA), Universiti Utara Malaysia, was invited by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (KKM) to share its expertise in carrying out qualitative research in healthcare and data analysis using the computer software of ATLAS.ti.
For this purpose, CeTMA appointed its senior research fellow Associate Professor Dr. Ani Munirah Mohamad, who is also a lecturer at the School of Law, UUM and a certified ATLAS.ti senior professional trainer, to deliver the workshop on 1 August 2023.
The one-day knowledge transfer workshop on qualitative research and ATLAS.ti took place at the office of Pharmacy Policy & Strategic Planning Division, KKM, in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and was participated by 30 KKM officers.
The Director of CeTMA, Associate Professor Dr. Masnita Misiran @ Bakun stated, “Dr. Ani’s experience of more than 13 years in conducting qualitative research by utilising the ATLAS.ti software is among the expertise that is available at CeTMA, and is offered to UUM community as well as other than UUM.”
“CeTMA is always committed towards research excellence and welcomes any opportunity for cooperation in qualitative research and data analysis using ATLAS.ti, so that the exchange of knowledge and experiences could happen in a collaborative environment,” she added.
